The parliament plot

The planning area is one of Reykjavik‘s most important plots in the city centre – the so called Parliament Plot – where consideration must be taken to sensitive and old surrounding buildings. The purpose was to create conditions for substantial construction of buildings for the Parliament inbetween existing older buildings which will be preserved and utilized by the Parliament.
