Krikaskóli Elementary School

The proposal received 2nd prize in a closed architectural competition in 2007. The competition focused on designing a new school policy for a new type of elementary school for children aged 1-9 years. Flexible and adaptable solutions are key concepts for the design and school policy. Key features include the ability to meet changes over time and a free flow between outdoor and indoor spaces. The building's main form emphasizes the unity of indoors/outdoors and nature/built environment, incorporating elements like light flow and wind protection.
