Thorsplan

Thorsplan is the main square in Hafnarfjörður community and is a venue /forum for all kinds of events in the city centre. Batteríið architects designed a permanent stage made of dock wood with backwall as a windbreak and a perspex roof. Also to the opposite side a wooden pedestrian bridge made of same kind of wood, spanning over a water mirror. Other parts of the square were designed by the landscape architects Landslag.
